commentary,and analysis...

first of all,the Packers did play well, but in spots, showed rust... they dominated the second half of game, scoring 21 unanswered points,to basically seal the deal, midway through the fourth period, but i saw a team, who on offense, was not quite clicking on all cylinders... Rodgers did not have gaudy numbers,yards-wise,but did have two touchdown passes, and a touchdown run,and did a very good job of handling a offense, that,at times, looked like out of sync, but you beat the teams that you are supposed to beat... defensively, the Packers chased Trent Edwards all over Lambeau Field, sacked him three times(Clay Matthews has six sacks,in first two games),and he got him three times... the defensive backfield picked off the first two passes of the year, and gave Buffalo,no chance after halftime... on my scale of 1 to 10:offense played well,an eight, and defense,in the second half, was an nine, even though Buffalo did have less than a hundred yards total offense, going into the second half, they were still in the game,at 13-7,at halftime.... next:Chicago,in Chicago, for only Monday Night Football game, unless they change times on game, the last 6 weeks of season(NFL flexable scheduling, during the last six weeks,of putting on best games on television to end season)... the Bears do not scare me,but it is a must-win,division-wise,for the Packers, because the Bears beat the Lions, opening week, and game is part of longest rivalry,in the NFL,going back to 1921... of any team, who have played 30 times,or more, against the Packers,Chicago is only team, with a winning record, against the Packers... i despise the Bears, but in this game, records do not count... no matter if either team, was, let's say,1-10,and the other team was 10-1,it would be the nastiest dogfight,on record, because Bears-Packers means WAR,to either team... they simply do not like each other,period...
