Packers' history...

on September 29,1957,the Packers opened, and dedicated City Stadium(renamed Lambeau Field, after Earl "Curly" Lambeau, who was coach of Packers, from 1919-1949(31 seasons),in 1965),with Vice-President Richard Nixon, and NFL commissioner Bert Bell,in attendance(who died in 1960,of heart attack, during a Philadelphia Eagles' game)... Packers beat Chicago Bears,21-17,when QB Babe Parelli threw a six yard touchdown pass,to Gary Knafelc,in fourth quarter,to clinch victory... Packers just won three games all of the 1957 season, and only that one stadium dedication day victory,at City Stadium, against the Bears...
