memorable Redskins-Packers games...

the 1936 NFL Championship game between the Boston Redskins and the Green Bay Packers was supposed to be played in Boston,but the game was moved to the Polo Grounds,in New York... why??? the Redskins' owner,George Preston Marshall,was upset with the support of the fans,because he was moving the team to Washington... the Packers won,21-6... it was their first ever meeting... on October 17,1983,the Packers pulled the most improbable upset,on Monday Night Football,when they hosted the defending Super Bowl Champion Washington Redskins,and beating them,48-47,in the highest scoring game,in Monday Night Football history...
