there will be more trivia and analysis of this week's Bears/Packers game, later on in the week... it is BEARS WEEK,as you know... stomp Da Bears!!!!!!!!!!!

a day at Lambeau Field...

it is a cloudy day, with a 90% chance of rain,in Green Bay... they are reseeding the pitch at Lambeau Field... wish i was sitting there at Lambeau Field, dreaming of watching the Packers play there... what a sight, and dream...

Congrats,Boston Red Sox!!!!!!!

Boston Red Sox won their third World Series, since 2004,beating the St. Louis Cardinals,6-1,tonight... it was their first World Series won in front of their own fans, since 1918,when a fellow named George Herman "Babe" Ruth was a member of the team...

greatest wrestling manager of all time...

it must be known that Bobby "The Brain" Heenan was the best manager in pro wrestling history... he was multi-talented,and when he was called,"weasel",it would drive him nuts...... he was an above average wrestler(a good worker,in wrestling terms),before he managed the heels,in the AWA(American Wrestling Association, and the World Wrestling Federation... he managed Rick Rude,Andre the Giant, and Nick Bockwinkel(when he was AWA Champion),among other wrestlers... his banter with Gorilla Monsoon during WWF All-Star Wrestling and WWF Prime Time Wrestling(precursors to Monday Night Raw)is absolutely legendary, and quite hilarious,period... when i see reruns of those programs,on WWE Classics, that banter is what i mostly see,period... when Heenan was inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame, his most poignant comment was,"i wish Gorilla was here",referring to his long, and very close friendship with Monsoon...

strange Packers' trivia...

WKBT,in La Crosse,Wisconsin, reports that a sixth grader,Dave Pehl, has worn an Aaron Rodgers jersey for over 1,000 straight days... his father,David Pehl, mentioned to his son when he gave the jersey to his son,for Christmas, jokingly, that someone wore a jersey for nearly 1,600 days in a row... i guess his son wants to set a new record... the record is 1,561 days,by David Witthoft, who wore a Brett Favre jersey, before he took it off in 2008... what is it about Packers' fans??? unfortunately, for the Pehl family, the rest of the family are Minnesota Vikings' fans...

special note...

note:some Packers' home games were played in Milwaukee,up until 1993,or 1994,so the games won in Milwaukee,by the Packers does equate as wins,at home, but not in Green Bay,properly...

tale of the tape...

since 2006,the Packers are 34-10,against NFC North opponents, and 19-3,at home... both are number two in the NFL,in that span... the Packers have won six straight games, and eight of the last nine games, against the Bears... the Packers have won ten straight NFC North games, ten straight regular season games, and 23 of 24 regular season games,at home(.958)... this is game number 187 between the teams:Bears lead all-time series,92-88-6,including 1-1,in playoffs... the Packers lead series in games won,in Green Bay(32-22-0)... this game is the first game between the teams,on Monday Night Football, since 1997... comment:people in New York must love Chicago:games between the teams have been in Chicago,on Monday Night Football(in 2002*,2003,2008,and 2010) *Champaign,Illinois, when Soldier Field was being renovated... the only game in Lambeau Field was in 2012,on NFL Network's "Thursday Night Football"... the teams have split the last ten games on Monday Night Football, between the teams...

injury update...

according to doctors,Green Bay Packers' tight end Jermichael Finley has no damage to his vertebrae, and has no surgery planned... so it is not if,but when,he will play football,again... that is good news for Finley, but also for the Packers... he has a ten million dollar insurance policy, just in case,if he does not play football, again,so his family is set financially... he may be on injured reserve for the rest of this season... the Packers have not decided on that,yet... i am very very happy for him and for his health...

comments...

the Packers have a "dope sheet" to tell you facts about their upcoming opponent, and this week,it is not up on website-possibly tomorrow... note:the two games against the Chicago Bears,at Lambeau Field, and week seventeen,at Soldier Field... both will be dogfights...

comments...

to me,THIS IS BEARS WEEK!!!!!!! even though quarterback Jay Cutler is supposed to be out at least four weeks with a injury, the Bears are still very dangerous, with running back Matt Forte, kick returner Devin Hester, and defensive back Charles "Peanut" Tillman, and an offense that can light up the scoreboard, with wide receiver Brandon Marshall, and Alshon Jeffery... the Bears are one of the very few teams who have beaten the Packers more often than the Packers have beaten the Bears,so i believe the game could be and should be a real slugfest, and a dogfight... expect it...

Packers' game score,and commentary...

Packers 44,Vikings 31... how dominant were the Packers??? they did not punt once... except for the opening kickoff, and two pass interference penalties on the Packers' defense-both of which were very questionable-the Vikings' offense could not get near the end zone, until it was way too late... bigmouth Greg Jennings had one catch for nine yards,in entire game... the Vikings defense could not stop the Packers' offense-they were successful on third down,or fourth down, fifteen times, against the Vikings' defense... the Packers' defense contained Adrian Peterson for sixty yards, while Eddie Lacy and James Starks rushed for ninety four yards, and fifty seven yards, respectively, for the Packers... Micah Hyde ran a punt back ninety three yards for a touchdown, for the Packers, and quarterback Aaron Rodgers was twenty four for twenty nine passes, for 285 yards, with two touchdown passes, both to wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who had 123 receiving yards, including a 76 yard touchdown pass from Rodgers... Packers are banged up,so i just wonder how they will do,when they are a healthy team??? that is so scary!!!!!!!

Packers' game score...

Packers 24,Vikings 17,halftime...

note...

Cordarrelle Patterson ran opening kickoff 109 yards for a touchdown, for the Minnesota Vikings....

second beatdown of the week...

Cincinnati Bengals 49,New York Jets 9... quarterback Geno Smith threw two pick sixes(interceptions for touchdown returns),as Bengals decimate Jets, all game... Jets did nothing in an really ugly stomp,by the Bengals...

special mention...

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson had the second most receiving yards in NFL history in a game-329 receiving yards,in a 31-30 thriller over the Dallas Cowboys...

beatdown of the week...

San Francisco 49ers 42,Jacksonville Jaguars 10.... 49ers stomp,and crush Jaguars,in London UK...

Packers' news,and an easy day....

Packers/Vikings tonight... watching football today;taking it easy,today...

Packers/Vikings matchup...

Packers have beaten NFC North opponents 13 times in the last 14 divisional games(.929);best in the NFL over that span... the only loss??? at Minnesota, against the Vikings(37-34),last December... Vikings' running back Adrian Peterson ran for an unbelievable 509 yards against the Packers, last season(in three games, including in the NFL playoffs),but the Packers won two of the three games, last season... however, going into this game,Peterson has had only four runs of 20+ yards, this season, including a 78 yard dash for a touchdown, against the Detroit Lions,on his first carry of this season(but only had 93 rushing yards, total,in that game)... the Packers' defense is third in the NFL against the run,so far, this season... to win,Vikings' quarterback Christian Ponder has to play his best game of this season(he has not won a game in which he has started this season) to balance out the Vikings' offense... i can talk about the banged up Packers' offense, but to tell you the truth, the only way that the Vikings can win this game,is to keep quarterback Aaron Rodgers off the field as much as possible, and to disrupt the offense by sacking Rodgers, and pressuring him all day long... Cordarrelle Patterson is a key weapon on special teams for the Vikings, giving them good field position, and Packers' punter Tim Masthay has to have his best day punting for the Packers and to keep Patterson, and the Vikings pinned deep in their own end most of the day... priority one for the Packers:contain Peterson, and try to let Ponder beat you if he can, with his arm... priority one for the Vikings:pressure Rodgers into mistake after mistake,so in that way, keeping Rodgers off the field,or hope for a shootout, between the teams....

a day at Lambeau Field...

it would be a very nice day, today,to just sit inside the bowl of Lambeau Field,as they reseed the pitch,or the "Frozen Tundra",which is not frozen, yet, but to play in Lambeau Field,in December,or even January, can be brutal...

Wednesday, October 23, 2013

comments...

this is Vikings' week,so i will tell you about how to stop the Vikings, including A.D.* Adrian Peterson, who is the best running back in the NFL,over the next four days... *his nickname means All Day...

RIP 241 military personnel,in Beirut,30 years ago......

this is 30th anniversary of the U.S. barracks bombing in Beirut, that killed 241 military personnel,by a truck bomb being driven into the lobby of the barracks,by Hezbollah... this tragedy has to be remembered,so the memories go back to the fallen that day... may the fallen be always remembered... to the families:find comfort even now on this day...

correction...

OOPS!!!!!!!!!!! i made a mistake in noting that the game between the Packers, and Vikings was Monday Night Football... the game is Sunday Night... note:the Chicago Bears play the Packers at Lambeau Field,in two weeks(November 4th),and that is Monday Night Football... the Bears' game is the only Monday Night game, for this season...

blog statement...

off to OZ down the yellow brick road and enjoying the nice day,by myself... had to make you laugh... possibly,i will blog tonight...

commentary...

when Packers' tight end Jermichael Finley went off the field on a stretcher Sunday, reports say that he had temporary paralysis, but recovered feeling in all four extremities shortly after that, and has been in intensive care, but was transferred out of the ICU,Monday night, and was walking to and from the shower, accordingly to his Twitter feed... whether he plays again, and tests have to be done to clear him to play, over the next few weeks,he will be a Packer,in my eyes,period... i just hope that he recovers totally for his own sake, and his life, not necessarily for football, but if he is cleared for football,i will cheer for him,no matter what happens... best wishes to him,and his family...

comment...

the Packers are in first place in the NFC North, and now for the divisional games, starting next weekend... Monday Night Football, next week, against the Minnesota Vikings,in the Metrodome...

a night after a win,at Lambeau Field...

the lights are on at Lambeau Field, and they are cleaning up the mess after a win against the Browns... what a sight!!!!!!!

blog statement...

going into the Sunday Night game, between the Denver Broncos, and the Indianapolis Colts, every game this Sunday has been competitive,so honestly i can not give out my usual "beatdown" of the week, this week... however,if either the Sunday night game or Monday Night Football is a rout, then i will add it...

Packers:first place in NFC North...

Packers 31,Browns 13... simply said,Packers grind out a win against the Browns... Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes, and Packers' running ran for 106 yards,in total,as Packers leapfrog both the Chicago Bears, and the Detroit Lions into first place in the NFC North...

NFC North scores that matter...

Washington Redskins 45,Chicago Bears 41... quarterback Jay Cutler out with groin injury... Cincinnati Bengals 27,Detroit Lions 24... Lions lose in last second...

commentary from my heart...

i expect the Packers to win the game against the Cleveland Browns,tomorrow... however, folks,i respect the Browns no end,period... the game appears to be a walkover;Cleveland being a double digit underdog, but NEVER,EVER disrespect a NFL team... tell that to All Pro Joe Haden, and you will get a major fight on your hand, because they are a team with major talent, and they are a NFL team, and to the pundits who have put the line on the game at double digits, they can be stupid, when the Browns put up a fight,tomorrow... the pundits are the same fools that put the Jacksonville Jaguars at a 27 1/2 point underdog against the Denver Broncos, and they were wrong... my opinion:it is a shame that pundits have no clue how big a heart a team has when they really play a football game, and the pundits make a number, and everybody believes that a team has no chance, but there are surprises in all sports(example: the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team, who won Olympic gold, and in the process beat the mighty Soviet Union)... as a shareholder/owner of the Green Bay Packers, like i said earlier,i expect a Packers' win over the Browns, but NEVER,EVER disrespect a NFL team,period...

RIP "Bum" Phillips...

Oail Andrew "Bum" Phillips has died at age 90... my prayers and deepest condolences go out to his family....

a day at Lambeau Field...

a very beautiful day in Green Bay to be dreaming inside Lambeau Field, and looking at the "Frozen Tundra",as they put markings on the field for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns...

a letter to Chris Canty...

dear Chris:you say that you are disappointed in what Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers in telling Ravens' safety Matt Elam that he did not like the hit on Packers' wide receiver Randall Cobb that broke his fibula... my opinion:while it was legal, and did not look intentional on Elam's part,it broke Cobb's leg,and i really do not blame Rodgers telling Elam that he did not like it... as for your opinion that you are "disappointed" in Rodgers' comments to Elam, just shut up,and play football... you just have a big mouth, going back to your New York Giants' days---remember that??? the Packers beat the Ravens,as you know... if you have someone to be "disappointed" in,talk to your head coach,John Harbaugh, who allowed a play, and failed in a fourth and one,at the Packers' one,in the second period... if you kicked a field goal, you could have won game... just eat bitter crow,in this loss,Chris... i do not care a whit about your opinion...

Wednesday, October 16, 2013

commentary...

who is Gregg Rosenthal??? he writes for NFL.com... he must be a Denver Broncos' fan... he rates Peyton Manning above all others in his weekly quarterback rankings, this week... however,Aaron Rodgers,Drew Brees, and Tom Brady should be up there with him, because of their overall quarterback play, and the simple fact that without the quarterback play of Rodgers,Brees, and Brady, their respective teams would not be contending, especially Brady, who lost a great deal of the Patriots' offensive receiving corps during the off-season,and has done a 5-1 record with basically smoke and mirrors, unlike Manning, who has an offensive team who can score points but the Broncos' defense really really sucks, and gives up points in bunches... good luck,Peyton, because the Broncos remind me of your Colts' teams that could score, but lost in playoff action, because of their stinky defense... even though the Packers, the Saints, and the Patriots may not be as explosive offensively, all three teams do have better defenses than the Broncos,period... putting Brady 11th in your weekly quarterback rankings, this week, shows your biases, and your stupidity,Gregg...

comments...

i am quite pissed at the situation in Washington D.C.... this is not normally a blog of politics, but i am pissed at everything political... the Congress,Senate, and the President need to do their jobs, whomever is to blame... i have my own opinions, and they may be different than my family's,but i will keep them to myself... the only thing that i can say is that they should do their jobs, and stop posturing, and posing for the cameras... get it done, politicians!!!!!!! oh,how much do i hate politics!!!!!! like my dear departed mother used to say,"more than the world"...

Packers' news...

Packers' wide receiver Randall Cobb(broken fibula)was put on injured reserve/return list... one player per team can be put on that list, and still return, but must miss eight weeks, but can practice after six weeks...

Browns/Packers trivia...

Sunday, the Packers will wear their third jersey celebrating their 1929 NFL Championship team, against the Cleveland Browns, and with a Packers' helmet(gold),but without decals... the game will be the third game,in last four games, against AFC North teams(last game against AFC North teams, will be final home game,in week 16,against the Pittsburgh Steelers),and the first game in which the Browns have visited Lambeau Field, since 2005... the last game in Cleveland, was in 2009,and the Packers won game,31-3,in week seven(too),that year... the Packers lead all-time series,10-7,including the 1965 NFL Championship, won by Green Bay,23-12,in Hall of Fame member Jim Brown's last game... the Browns traded running back Trent Richardson during this season to the Indianapolis Colts, and have played very well since then, but the quarterback situation is very shaky in Cleveland, indeed, but their defense is very, very good, period, with All-Pro Joe Haden in the defensive backfield... the Packers' offensive and defensive corps are very thin,at wide receiver, and at linebacker, because of injuries, but the defense registered three sacks, and the offense also registered a 100+ yard rushing game, with quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw a 64 yard touchdown pass to James Jones, last week, against the Ravens... it will be an interesting game,Sunday...

a change of pace...

after three years, the U.S. Patent Office gave Tampa Bay Bucanneers' safety Darrelle Revis registered ownership of the phrase,"Revis Island"...

Monday, October 14, 2013

a night at Lambeau Field...

it is not raining in Green Bay,as i type, but by morning it will be raining there... even then,it would be a dream to be inside Lambeau Field dreaming about the Packers playing in the mud...

correction...

i must be brain dead today, because i made a BIG mistake:wide receiver James Jones has the PCL sprain, and could play this week, against the Cleveland Browns, but the news is not good for wide receiver Randall Cobb... he has a fractured fibula, and could be out six weeks... there are unconfirmed reports that linebacker Nick Perry may have a broken foot,too...

injury update...

Packers' wide receiver Randall Cobb is out "multiple weeks" with a posterior crucible ligament(PCL)sprain...

commentary...

someone mentioned to me what a goal line stand that the Packers had in the second period... they allowed only three points in the first three periods,folks... with the loss of two wide receivers, the Packers turned to quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and running back Eddie Lacy(who may be for real),who rushed 23 times for 120 yards,in the second half to wear down a very good Ravens' defense... a 64 yard bomb, for touchdown,to Jordy Nelson does not hurt either... Ravens' quarterback Joe Flacco did not have his best day, getting sacked three times, and questionable coaching calls,by head coach John Harbaugh, actually cost the Ravens enough points to allow the Packers to escape with a narrow win,in a hard fought, and hard earned game...

Sunday, October 13, 2013

educated guesses...

this is my educated guess, and opinion, and nobody's else's: Packers' wide receiver Randall Cobb, who has a MRI,tomorrow,on his knee,is out for the season... he was carried out on a stretcher... wide receiver James Jones will miss the game against the Cleveland Browns, with his injured leg... let us find out how close i am to what is going on,tomorrow...

special mention...

New England Patriots 30,New Orleans Saints 27... quarterback Tom Brady led an eight play,70 yard drive for a touchdown,in 1:08,with no timeouts,to stun the Saints, after the Saints' offense stalled twice, trying to run out the clock... the touchdown pass was caught by Kenbrell Thompkins,in the left corner,of the endzone, with five seconds left in the game... WHAT A GAME!!!!!!!

a classless act in Houston...

to the Texans' "fans" who cheered when Texans' quarterback Matt Schaub went down with an injury, you morons have no class... no matter how your team is going, and the Texans are not going well right now,you never "cheer" when a player gets hurt, because that is totally classless,period...

beatdown of the week...

St. Louis Rams 38,Houston Texans 13... Texans are a total mess, and were crushed by the Rams... game was 38-6,before a late fourth quarter touchdown... Texans' backup quarterback T.J. Yates threw the Texans' fifth "pick six",in last five games-a 98 yard interception return... how pathetic...

Packers' game score...

Packers 19,Baltimore Ravens 17... a win is a win!!!!!!!!! commentary, tonight,or early tomorrow morning...

Saturday, October 12, 2013

blog statement...

i have to deeply apologize to my blog's readers... i am totally unhappy with my effort,on both of my blogs, recently, because the effort is just not there, and that really angers me no end,and that is not acceptable to me... i deeply apologize to you,folks... tomorrow will be better,i know that!!!!!

Friday, October 11, 2013

correction...

OOPS!!!!!!! Clay Matthews of the Packers has a broken thumb, and will be out a month... i reported that was a hamstring(the injury he suffered the week of the Cincinnati Bengals' game)... it was just reported today by the Packers, and the NFL... Matthews jogged off the field, and the hand was not shown Sunday,so i thought he was out because of the hamstring...

condolences to Adrian...

according to police in Sioux Falls,South Dakota, the two year old son of Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has died... he was beaten by his mother's boyfriend, and he will charged accordingly... the scumbag will not be named by me... my condolences go out to Peterson, and his family...

prayers...

this has nothing to do with football, but reports indicate that Vikings' running back Adrian Peterson's young son is in critical condition,in a Sioux Falls,South Dakota hospital... i will respect his wishes to keep it private, and my prayers are going his way for his son,and his family...

commentary...

expect a shootout between the Packers, and the Baltimore Ravens, this week... series history:Packers 3-1... the Packers' linebackers are quite banged up,including Clay Matthews, who could miss a month(hamstring),so next man up will be the Packers' credo for a while... Ravens' quarterback Joe Flacco and the Ravens' offense can be high-powered,and that is a concern, but question:can they outscore the Packers' offense, who last week looked out of sync, against the Detroit Lions, but can light it up with the best offenses of the NFL,so it will be interesting to watch the Packers',and Ravens' offenses against the other team's defenses this Sunday, because both defenses are very good, but depleted... in case of the Packers:injuries are to blame for that;in the case of the Ravens:retirements, free agency, and trades are to blame, but both defenses can be very good... Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a 105.5 passer rating, and is tied for second in the NFL with fifteen 25+ yards or more receptions, including a 83 yard reception for touchdown to James Jones, last week, against the Lions...

comments...

i have to comment on last week's Packers game, against the Detroit Lions:both team defenses did very well, but honestly, the Lions' offense was pathetic throughout the game... the final score(22-9)does not indicate how bad the Lions' offense sucked, without wide receiver Calvin Johnson... only Packers' receivers dropping at least one pass for a sure touchdown, and the fact that one receiver did not get two feet down while crossing the goal line(and a stiff defense by the Lions)prevented a real Packers' rout in the game, because Detroit did nothing against the Packers' team defense...

Thursday, October 10, 2013

Friday, October 4, 2013

Packers' trivia...

the Lions have lost 21 regular season games(22,if you count a playoff win),against the Packers,in a row,in the state of Wisconsin(Packers did play in Milwaukee)... it is the longest home winning streak, against one team,in NFL history...

Thursday, October 3, 2013

Lions/Packers game matchup...

this is about the Packers/Lions game on Sunday:the biggest offensive weapon that the Lions have is wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who broke Jerry Rice's NFL record for receiving yardage, with nearly 2,000 yards, and they have a potent offense with running back Reggie Bush(BOO!!!!-am a USC Trojan fan),and quarterback Matthew Stafford... the Lions' front seven is quick and rather good, but the defensive backfield can be had over the top, with long passes, but they can hit hard... now for the Packers,it all starts with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who may be the best pure passer in the NFL,but the keys to the Packers' offense is the running game(Eddie Lacy-concussion-is practicing),and the fact of how the improving, but very young, offensive line can hold up against Detroit's tough front seven,to give Rodgers time to get the football to the Packers' talented receiving corps... even though Detroit was 4-12 last year,Matthew Stafford threw for 5,000 yards(Johnson being over 40 percent of the offense),so the Packers' defensive line and backfield will be tested all day... big questions for both teams:can Clay Matthews, for the Packers, and Ndamukong Suh get to the opposing quarterbacks,to slow down both offenses??? if they do,it will be a dogfight... if it is a shootout, turnovers will make the difference, and both teams can score quite handily, and yet the most turnovers, most likely, will decide the game... i "despise" the Lions(laughing),but they have the second best offense in the division, behind the Packers, but they have a jitterbug in Bush, who can run very well, but can the Lions put it all together to win the game??? possible, but honestly, the Packers are a very hungry, rested, and pissed off team, coming off a tough, but disappointing loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, two weeks ago... so it will be an interesting game to watch,Sunday...

an very funny odd day...

i know that i was supposed to preview the Lions/Packers game, but i can not seem to do anything right or straight, right now,so i am taking a break, from being a brain(ha,ha),to needing to be a couch potato today... things are just a little odd today... perhaps, when i get things to settle down,i will preview the game, tonight,or early tomorrow morning... i do have things to point out to you about the game,folks...

Wednesday, October 2, 2013

comments...

i will preview this week's Packers' game against the Detroit Lions starting tomorrow... have to catch up somewhat...

commentary...

from 1989 to 1999,i was "on the road",and i travelled all over the United States... there were times that i stayed in one place, like Sacramento California, parts of the state of Utah, and Washington, and Orange County,California, but it was an adventure those last six years, because i traveled almost every day, from Nevada,Arizona to the east coast... i covered some 50,000 miles through 23 states during that time... most of that time,i hitchhiked through the country(would not do it again;too dangerous),but when you have a "nickel in my pocket"(one of my favorite sayings),and you have very little reason to be in a big city, you head out on the road... when i started the adventure,i was immature, and a tweep, and when i ended it,i was mature, and tough as nails(had to be,because the road is a very tough place to be)... my family still has no real idea why i did everything that i did... some have their own ideas, and that is fine... there is more than one reason why it happened:being in love, and trying to really help someone is one reason, and that may be the biggest reason that my family believes that it happened... however, even though i dearly loved, and still do love,my family,i believe that i needed to grow up in a very big way, because even though i was in a family that raised me to be independent, and to be a normal kid, there were parts of my life that needed to be very mature, and in my opinion,i was very, very immature in many areas of my life... having very little money for the vast majority of that time taught me to appreciate money, but also taught me that money is not that important,if you know what i mean... many times that i traveled,i learned a great deal about who i was,and what i can do,because it was very very tough to be in Reno one day,Las Vegas the next, then Kingman,Arizona, within a couple of days, for example, and keep your sanity, and keep yourself safe from harm... people have asked me if i would change things,if i had to do it all over again... some people believe that i would, and yet my simple answer would be NO!!!!!! my life at the time that i started my ten year adventure was an immature and big mess, believe it or not,and even though my family did try to help at that time,i was not speaking to any of them, because i was so messed up mentally, and physically,i had no idea what i wanted... i would cry when my dad tried to talk about my grades in junior college, for example... he would get upset, and i would shut down... i was a mixed up,screwed up immature person, who honestly had no idea what to do,at that time... i was in a severe depression, and i was hurting inside... the time "on the road" taught me,and toughened me a great deal... one thing that i deeply regret was not to keep in touch with family, for the most part, because they did worry about me... i know that, but i was not ready to rejoin the family, and it took ten very tough years to basically grow up,and realize who i am... my dearly departed uncle Bob gave me the absolute best compliment that i have ever received... it was,"Christopher(my first name),i am very proud of you"... i was stunned to hear that and i asked him why??? he said five simple words,",because you are a survivor"... thank you UNC!!!!!

commentary...

two players are a little delusional:Alex Boone,of the San Francisco 49ers,believes that the Super Bowl "runs through San Francisco"... possible, but Alex, your team has to beat the Seattle Seahawks, who crushed your team 29-3.... Antrel Rolle,of the New York Giants, who are 0-4,thinks that the Giants can win out,and win twelve straight games,to get to the NFL playoffs... good idea,Antrel, but your team has scored seven points in the last two games, and your defensive backfield really has sucked, and your offensive line can not block anyone, and if you have those two areas that suck, your team is in trouble,period... Alex, and Antrel, good luck, for those predictions...
