commentary...

i am very, very proud to be a shareholder/owner of the Green Bay Packers, and to people, that may not sound like a big deal, but to me,i take being part of the public ownership of the Packers very, very seriously, and so people may laugh and snicker at all the hats that i may wear, but i smile every Sunday that i watch the Packers on television(wish i could get season tickets, but with a waiting list(current list-110,000+ people-team President Mark Murphy,in a interview with Packers.com)that would take up to 40 years,to get to the front of the line, there is absolutely no chance for me to get there... that is amazing to think about, isn't it??? i have been a fan of the team since the late 1960's,so i know team history, almost like i know my left hand, and palm(inside and out)... being a shareholder/owner of the Packers means more than a simple piece of paper... i have said that i bleed Red and White(Red Wings' colors)out of one arm,and i bleed Green and Gold(Packers' colors)out of the other arm,but honestly i am such a shareholder/owner,of the Packers, that if you mention the Chicago Bears to me,i tend to be rather nasty to you(i do not like the Bears, period),and during "Bears' Week"(the weeks of the games between the teams),i become like a rabid dog, wanting to bury the Bears under a tree, like a dog burying a bone in the ground... the rivalry goes back to 1921,and i take it very seriously... personally,i deeply respect the Bears, but i want to beat them twice every year, very badly... i do know that is not possible, but i do want that,no matter what the Packers' and Bears' records may be that year;could be winless, and have two wins that year, and if the two wins are against the Bears,i would be unhappy about the overall record, but would be smiling from ear to ear about beating the Bears that year... "Bears' Week",in 2014 are week four(in Chicago),and week ten, after our team bye(in Green Bay),so if you understand what i am saying,do not mention the Bears those weeks to me,or i will get a shovel and start digging under a tree...
