2011 first round pick Christian Ponder will start his first NFL game,in his short career,against the World Champion Green Bay Packers,on Sunday... note:the last time that happened was when Josh Freeman,and the 0-7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers,beat the Packers,38-28,in Tampa,in 2009... i would believe that Mike McCarthy(Packers' coach)would remind them of that fact... the Vikings will always be dangerous when they have Adrian Peterson in their backfield,because he may be the best running back in the NFL,period... on November 4,2007,Peterson ran for 296 yards,for the Vikings,against the San Diego Chargers(in the 2011 NFL record book,it is the record),so Peterson will be the man to stop,and pound Ponder into turnovers,and keep Peterson from going on a 80+yard run,or at least keep him under 150 yards... The Vikings started the entire season with a 103 yard kickoff return,by Percy Harvin,on opening kickoff of the 2011 season,so the Vikings may be 1-5,but i want to tell you that the Vikings lost double-digit leads,after halftime,in their first three games(San Diego-17-0,Tampa Bay-20-0,and Detroit-23-0),so Packers have to get off to a good start,and after halftime,keep team "foot",on gas,and do not let Vikings feel any momentum,in second half,and basically do the same thing that the Bears did to the Vikings,last Sunday night-take them down early,and make them,1-6,and then welcome them back to Lambeau Field,in three weeks...
