unique historical trivia

let us go back to 1942:Don Hutson,for the Green Bay Packers,caught 74 passes,for 1,211 yards,and 17 touchdowns... good numbers,nowadays,but let me tell you how great those numbers were,back in 1942:second place receiver in NFL,caught only 27 passes,and had 571 yards,receiving,and had single digits in touchdowns... it was like George Herman "Babe" Ruth,hitting 54 home runs,in 1919,and second place was in the teens... he told a reporter one time that for every catch he had,in game,that he caught 1,000 passes,in practice... his first ever catch,in NFL,was a 80 yard catch,against the Chicago Bears,in a Packers' 7-0 win...
