remembering MLK,and RFK...

normally, this is a Packers' post, but today is the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King's assassination by James Earl Ray,in Memphis,Tennessee... i was eight years old, living in Bakersfield California, and i remember my parents being very sad,and the paper on the table, the next day,as we sat down to dinner... later on in the year,Robert Francis Kennedy(RFK) got shot, and killed(he died about 36 hours later,in hospital),at the Ambassador Hotel,by Sirhan Sirhan,in Los Angeles,California, shortly after winning the 1968 California Democratic Presidential Primary... i got woke up by the shots, and had trouble sleeping in the dark, well into high school, after that tragic night... now i still wonder what would had happened if those two people had not been killed by assassins, those nights??? i honestly read a biography of MLK,and read up on RFK to really understand those two people's lives... to both of them,i deeply bow,in deep respect...
