commentary...

i was a fan of the recently retired Brian Urlacher... he came out of the University of New Mexico, where he actually was a safety his first year in college... i remember watching a UNM game back then on television, and he intercepted a pass that day... that was my introduction to Urlacher... honestly,it was too bad(laughing)that he was drafted by the Chicago Bears... even though he played the Packers twice every season(not including playoffs),i did honestly respect his play... he did play NFL football, college football, and did other things, with total class... Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers must be taking a very deep breath, and had a prayer of thanks(laughing),when he retired, because Urlacher was the nemesis for Rodgers, when the Packers did play the Bears, because Urlacher would come up with a big play, against Rodgers, over and over, during Packers/Bears games over the years... example:an interception of Rodgers that almost turned the 2010 NFC Championship game on its ear,if not for a thigh high tackle by Rodgers... Rodgers said,at the time,"i was mad,and i thought i could out-run him on an angle, and if i could get to him,i could get him down... he did,and that was turning point of that game... to him,i give him a double hat tip to a great player... may he have a great life outside football, and may i see him in Canton, and i will applaud his induction,if he gets into the Hall of Fame, even if he was a dreaded "hated" Chicago Bears' player(laughing)...
