D-Day always remembered...

on a weather stricken day,sixty nine years ago,Allied troops landed on the beaches of Europe,and began the feared invasion of "Axis Fortress Europe" that the Nazis said that never would happen,but actually feared... it was the beginning of the end of World War Two,which ended on May 7,1945,in Europe,with the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany... some troops did not get off the beaches for,i believe,three days,because of German resistance... to those troops who went ashore that day,and the days after that,i honestly salute,and tip my hat to their memory... they started to kick serious tail this day,sixty nine years ago...
