going to the big Lambeau Field in the sky...

i have been absolutely out to lunch for the last few weeks... i am very sorry,folks... there was many players on the 1960's Packers that get much more attention than Frederick Thurston, aka "Fuzzy"... Thurston was an offensive lineman, and along with Jerry Kramer, who led the famed Packer Sweep*,devastating everyone in sight, for most of the decade, under head coach Vince Lombardi... the Packer Sweep* was,"the one play that we must get to work",in the immortal words of Coach Lombardi, and that meant for the most part,Thurston and Kramer coming around the end of the line like locomotives going full speed... to be able to see that sight must have mind blowing, and scary,to a cornerback and/or safety... well,Fuzzy died on December 14,2014... i deeply tip my hat to a real Packer great... *i put the words in with capital letters, out of respect for Thurston,today...
