Packers' history,and commentary...

i told my dad what i would do to a Chicago Bears' jersey,if i received it... let me just say that it would not be pretty, because i am a shareholder/owner of the Packers, and i take the rivalries very seriously, especially the Bears... people may think that i am being funny when i say that "DA BEARS SUCK",but when a fan in 1936 comes out of the stands mad about a penalty nullifying a Packers' touchdown, with the Packers down,30-3,and went after the head linesman, and punched a Bears' player, and was escorted to the sideline,unrepentant*... in the 1945 season opener,Lee Artoe,of the Bears, punched Packers' player Larry Craig in the face... about a month later, back Ken Keuper hit an unsuspecting Artoe, with a stiff forearm, breaking his nose, and both his upper and lower jaw, losing eleven teeth,in the process... Artoe's response, fifty two years later,"oh boy,i can still feel it"... now,for a funny story, the very first game between the Packers, and the Bears(then the Staleys, named for a car,of all things),on November 27,1921,was that fans, and a marching band,of the Packers marched down Michigan Avenue, going in and out of hotels raising a non-stop ruckus, before the game... so i would believe that my "hatred",but respect,of the Bears is very mild... *note:i know the names of the people, but i will not name them, because of length of blog... oh well, why not??? the fan's name was Emmet Platten(6'4,222 pounds)... he went after linesman Gunner Elliott, and instead hit Ted Rosequist a 6'4",230 pound tackle... Bears' head coach George Halas said after the game,"can't they do something about him???"... Platten wrote an eight paragraph letter days later,to the Green Bay Press-Gazette,justifying his actions... what a rivalry...
