Rams/Packers game notes...
note:i am sorry that i have not had any game notes in the last two weeks, but things have changed somewhat in the last two weeks, along with a computer power outage last weekend... my father retired, and i have been not too sure,if my father is reading my blog... i will find out definitely tomorrow... now for the St. Louis Rams/Packers game notes:Rams lead 46-45-2,all-time(that includes a 1-1 playoff mark),but have lost the last four regular season games, against the Packers, and the Packers have won eleven straight home games... Aaron Rodgers have thrown 43 touchdown passes, and an incredible 580 passes(including playoffs),since his last interception,at home,on December 2,2012,against the Minnesota Vikings... that streak is twice as long of a streak as anybody,in NFL history...the Rams' defensive front seven may be one of the best in the NFL,this season, and the Rams have beaten the Seattle Seahawks,as has the Packers, and then last week, beat the Arizona Cardinals,in a brutal game of football(turnovers, and such),but is only 2-2,for the season... question:are the Rams the team who beat the Cardinals, and Seahawks,or are they a team who plays down to their opponents,in game two and three(losing 24-10,to the Redskins, and 12-6,to the Pittsburgh Steelers)... they are a very good team, and they are coming to Lambeau Field, and the Packers are both in the top ten in NFL defensive and offensive statistics,so far... last week,Todd Gurley ran for a total of 146 yards in his first career game, for the Rams, including a breathtaking 52 yard touchdown run,but quarterback Nick Foles threw for only 178 yards, but had three touchdown passes... so the Packers' defense's main focus,is try to get Nick Foles beat you, instead of a two pronged attack of Gurley, and Foles... finally, keep turnovers to a bare minimum... interesting game,Sunday???
