another one for the eternal "squared circle"...

one of the greatest talkers and wrestlers has died today,one Roderick Toombs... if you are a wrestling fan,you do not know him by his real name... he won the WWF Intercontinental Championship only once,over the Mountie(Jacques Rougeau),and then put the Mountie's stun stick to the Mountie,in a classic WWF match... Mr. Toombs,aka "Rowdy"Roddy Piper,was best known for playing a heel(hitting Jimmy Snuka over the head with a coconut,on a classic "Piper's Pit")... i will watch Wrestlemania 2,where he bodyslams Mr. T,in a boxing match,in one of three main events,this weekend,and still boo,and laugh at a memory that i saw live... prayers and condolences to his family... my opinion:even though he was a classic heel,he made me laugh many times,and he did his job well... RIP "Rowdy" Roddy Piper... this is one longtime wrestling fan who will miss you deeply...
