stories of my life,part three...

this story is very odd, because there were some strange characters involved,in this part of the story,so some of the things that happened are just too odd to be believed, but i swear that they are very, very true... first of all,i had every intention to go back up to Seattle, because i had bought a round trip bus ticket,at the bus station,in Seattle... however,i had to have my soulmate explain why she gave me only a number to call, and not even a number,in California,to call, but one in Wisconsin, which absolutely puzzled me... it took two letters to her doctor and, actually, two attempts to track her down... well, let me back up a ways to writing the first letter to the doctor, from Poulsbo, itself, and i honestly thought it would take only one attempt to see her...  i had made arrangements to meet her at Downtown Plaza, one day,but unfortunately,i had severely injured my knee, and in the hours before meeting her,my knee swelled, and stiffened up,so i had major trouble even walking that day,so i had to give up on waiting for her,and missed her by about 20 minutes... stupid me!!!! i will tell you why i say that later on in this story... i grabbed a hotel room at a Motel 6,and was in bed, most of the next three days... i even had to argue with the owner of the Motel 6 to even get a room... i used the return bus ticket to Seattle,to cinch the room... so i wrote a second letter to her doctor, apologized to him,and she got the letter and met me,at the main post office,in Carmichael(the same one that we had when we lived in Carmichael),so we both knew where to meet... well,my life took a beating, and a major curve,at that meeting... i was blindsided by what she told me... i still loved her very much... in the nine months that we were away from each other, her life was in tatters, and she was living in a Motel 6... i could deal with that, but she hit me with a shocker... she was getting married!!!! what happened??? on the very night that i was supposed to meet her the first time, she went to the drive-in,with friends, and being depressed over not meeting me,she accepted a marriage proposal from this country hick, who worked at a junkyard,in Elk Grove... that was the story that she gave me... she had a job being an independent salesperson(door to door salesman),but her boss, who was married at that time, just wanted to get her into bed,if you know what i mean... some slimy, and weird characters, indeed, and more talking to me told me that she was not in love with the country hick, who wanted to marry her,at the local Moose,or Elks' Lodge, some weekend, and her boss was very scummy,so she did the only thing that she could think of:get me a job with the scum, and get enough money to get an apartment... well, she dumped the country hick, telling him the truth that she did not love him;she loved someone else(me)... how do i know what was said??? well,i was in the hotel room's bathroom(shower),when she lowered the boom on the country hick... are you laughing, yet??? so,i had to make a decision, whether to go back up to Seattle, and living with UNC,or believe her in her telling me that she loved me... it honestly took me more than a few days to believe what she was saying to me... well,i loved her very, very much, wanted her to be happy, and she was not simply too happy with the weird situation that she found herself in... so i chipped in and helped her out of the terrible mess that she was in... i worked as a door to door salesman for nine months, gathered enough money to get an apartment for her(walked most of Sacramento doing it),absolutely worked my backside off,and did it legally, but first had to move her to another Motel 6,to get her away from that terrible situation that she was in,down in South Sacramento(it took about nine months to get the job done),and i knew every street in Sacramento proper... what a job!!!! i have deep earned respect for people who do that job,no doubt... what a story, isn't it,folks???
