commentary...

pundits are hyping the San Francisco 49ers' coaching staff, including head coach Jim Harbaugh, saying that they are the best coaching staff in the NFL,and they may be,but question one:have they won a Super Bowl ring? answer is no... question two:do they have the best overall roster of players in the NFC West? answer is:simply,i do not think so... question three:are they hyping them way too high? answer is:simply,yes... i,in no way,am denigrating them, but there are weaknesses in their defensive backfield, right at this moment, and the quarterback that is Colin Kaepernick will be solved sometime this season, because they will be beaten by someone, this season... i am getting tired of hearing about the 49ers being the NFL's super team... if they were, they would have beaten the Baltimore Ravens, last season,in Super Bowl XLVII... they are a very good team, and i do not deny that,at all,but folks there is only so much hype that i can stomach... just play the season, and if the 49ers are the best team,i will tip my hat,and applaud, but it is time for the team to put up,or shut up,period... to the pundits, shut up,PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

commentary...

now that the preseason is over, tomorrow,i will start to prepare my critique of the Packers/49ers game, opening week, after both teams cut down to 53 players, and i will know how both teams will be against each other-roster-wise,and then i will give you a better idea of how both teams will play in the game, and throughout the season... the preseason does not count, but you do not get a fair idea of both teams,i do admit, because a 30-8 shellacking by the Kansas City Chiefs,in the preseason, does not count as much as a win, against anybody on the Packers' regular season schedule, including the 49ers,opening week... you can gloat about the 1-3 preseason record that the Packers had,but let me remind you that the 2008 Detroit Lions had a perfect preseason record of 4-0,but was 0-16 in the regular season(the only team ever to do that dubious deed)... the Packers played very few starters(first string)in the preseason,or got just enough reps to prepare for the regular season,so,for example,Aaron Rodgers,i believe, did not throw a touchdown pass in the preseason, because the fact that the preseason was meant, basically,to find a suitable backup quarterback for the team(my opinion)... we will see what team will show up,against the 49ers,opening week...

a day at Lambeau Field...

it is a very nice day in Green Bay... i wish i was there just sitting in the bowl of Lambeau Field, dreaming of the Packers playing in front of me... i may be a shareholder/owner,but not a season ticket holder... too bad!!!!! that does suck not being a season ticket holder, even in the nosebleed seats... only wishing, and dreaming,folks... i love the Packers and to own,and root for them is still a dream...

Breaking News...

the NFL,and retired players, and their families reach $765 million settlement of concussion-related lawsuits, for 4,500 players, including Tony Dorsett,Jim McMahon, and the family of the late Junior Seau...

commentary...

two of the Green Bay Packers on the physically unable to perform list(linebacker Jerel Worthy, and Derek Sherrod),are very good players... both can not be activated until week seven... Worthy is recovering from a knee injury, and Sherrod is recovering from a severe double compound fractured leg suffered in his rookie year, against the Detroit Lions,in week seventeen(same game in which former Packers',and current Oakland Raiders quarterback Matt Flynn threw for six touchdowns)... Worthy should be back later on this season, but Sherrod has suffered setbacks in his recovery,so who knows...

trivia...

name the only person ever to be enshrined in both the Baseball Hall of Fame, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame??? answer:Cal Hubbard, who was the chief of umpires of the American League, and was an umpire, from 1936 to 1951,and was a tackle on the 1929-1931 NFL Champions Green Bay Packers... he was enshrined in the first class of seventeen players,in 1963,in Canton,Ohio... he was enshrined in 1976,in Cooperstown,New York...

commentary...

i honestly can not wait for the 2013-2014 NFL season to start, because it has been a very long off-season,and i will root for the Packers,of course... pundits have a range of a 9-7,second place in NFL North(behind Chicago)to a division winning,12-4 season... to the pundits,i say, bring it on!!!!!!! i am just rooting for the Packers to have a very good season, and with the sixth toughest schedule,in the NFL,this season,it will be a real dogfight, this season...

Packers' news...

Packers' running back DuJuan Harris has been placed on injured reserve... he has an inflamed patella tendon(the same injury he had most of training camp)... the Packers do have depth at running back, with Eddie Lacy,Johnathan Franklin, and Alex Green, for the first time in years...

NFL news...

the NFLPA has filed a grievance in the case of a $82,000 workout bonus due scumbag Aaron Hernandez at time of his arrest for the murder of Odin Floyd... i do understand the grievance, but i believe that Hernandez is owed nothing, because of a breach of his contract,period... my opinion:the NFLPA,in this case, can eat it,period...

NFC North division rankings(at start of season)...

the NFC North Division looks this way,so far... 1)Green Bay Packers,2)Minnesota Vikings,3)Chicago Bears, and 4)Detroit Lions... Packers appear like preseason pick for division crown... Vikings and Bears look like possible playoff teams, with a shot at the division,if bounces go their way... the Lions have trouble in defensive backfield, and they really need another pass rusher, and yet they may have one in Ziggy Ansah, but he,i estimate,is day to day, with an unknown injury(that is outside the Lions' organization, because Lions' head coach Jim Schwartz is mum on that subject...

NFL news...

Packers' wide receivers Jordy Nelson, and Randall Cobb returned to practice, today, and probably will play week one, against the San Francisco 49ers,and the 49ers' linebacker Patrick Willis does look like he will play, against the Packers, week one,but there is a possibility that he may play with a cast on his broken right hand, that day...

comment...

simply said, the San Francisco 49ers first string offense, and defense are ready for opening week...

comments...

someone told me if i wanted the 49ers to beat the Vikings, but honestly,i really do not care who wins, but the 49ers are the first opponent for the Packers, opening week,so i will pay close attention to the first string offense, and defense of the 49ers,because that will be the team who the Packers will play September 8th,2013,and it will be very important to know what the 49ers will play like as a team, for the most part, this season... even though, there will be some surprises opening week, for both teams...

Rex Ryan,bonehead,or a big joke,or both???

New York Jets' head coach Rex Ryan made perhaps the bonehead call of the preseason... in the Jets' overtime 24-21 win over the New York Giants,he put presumed starting quarterback Mark Sanchez into the game, with about eleven minutes left in the fourth quarter, when Sanchez played with mostly third string, and fourth string, and guess what??? he got pounded and got his shoulder hurt... he is being double guessed, and got his rear end chewed on by the vicious New York media, saying that,"we were trying to win the game"... hey,Rex,it is the third game of the preseason, not opening week, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers... he was a very good coach the first two years of his tenure, putting the Jets into the AFC Championship game both years, but now he has become a big joke in the Big Apple... hope Sanchez is not hurt that bad... as for Rex,i believe that he will be gone after this year, because the Jets' offense, and total team have no chance for the NFL playoffs, let alone a winning record... way to go,Rex...

Packers' news...

the Packers have released quarterback Graham Harrell... it does appear that quarterback Vince Young will be the backup to quarterback Aaron Rodgers...

blog statement...

starting in week one,i will have a new segment on my blog critiquing the Packers' opponents every week, starting with the San Francisco 49ers...

commentary...

the Packers and Seahawks played really well... Seattle had over 170+yards in penalties, and for a preseason game, tried to bully the Packers by trashtalking, and cheap penalties throughout the game, and there were a lots of boos for Seahawks' wide receiver Golden Tate, who caught the "Fail Mary" pass,in Seattle(as you would expect)... both teams offensively played well... the first string Packers' defense intercepted Russell Wilson twice on overthrows, and sacked Russell Wilson twice(Clay Matthews got him the first time),and even with the patchwork offensive line, the Seahawks' first string defense did not sack quarterback Aaron Rodgers once, even though Rodgers played only one quarter...

commentary...

as for tonight's marquee matchup(at least in the preseason)between the Seattle Seahawks and the Packers:the key to the final score will be whose first string plays further into the game, because both teams are preparing for the regular season... the Packers have many players who need time, have been injured so far,and will play in the game,so i expect that the Seahawks' starters will play into the game for a possible three quarters,so the key for me is how the first string plays for both teams,as long as they both play, and not the final score, even though the Packers and Seahawks both want to win game... folks,it is only preseason, and it is most important that major injuries be avoided, and being prepared for week one,of the regular season....

a day at Lambeau Field...

a partly cloudy day at Lambeau Field... maintenance crews are marking the "Frozen Tundra"(laughing, folks,it is mid-August!!!!!)for exhibition game against the Seahawks, this week... looks beautiful... wish i was sitting inside Lambeau Field, today, dreaming about watching the Packers... soon,folks...

news....

Aaron Hernandez has been indicted in the death of Odin Lloyd,officially,today... a real scumbag!!!!!!!! however, you basically can indict a ham sandwich,folks(laughing)... does that make Hernandez a ham sandwich??? my opinion:just as important,as one... my sympathy is with Lloyd and his immediate family,period,folks...

comments about camp...

you can tell that it is getting close to the regular season, when Packers' head coach Mike McCarthy is not happy and griping about most anything, and says that the Packers basically sucked at team practice,yesterday... i guess everybody is getting tired of training camp, and anxious... i am the same way, getting very tired of training camp... just bring on the season, please!!! for your information, this week's preseason game, against the Seattle Seahawks,is on national television,at Lambeau Field...

Wednesday, August 21, 2013

commentary...

the pundits are picking the Seattle Seahawks,or the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl XLVIII... on paper, they have the teams to beat, but folks, let me remind you of a couple of things:rosters do not win Super Bowls, and there are sixteen games, and the NFL playoffs between now and then... for example:let me use the Packers as an example,in 2010,who but the hardcore Packers' fans picked the Packers to win Super Bowl XLV,and when they started to lose player after player(fifteen in all,to injured reserve),who was on their bandwagon... NO ONE!!!!!!! let me remind you folks of something:how close did the Packers come to missing the playoffs that year:1)a crazy punt return touchdown by the Philadelphia Eagles to end game, and to beat the New York Giants,38-31,and a wild Detroit Lions' 23-20 road win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, both in week fifteen(the Lions' win broke a NFL record 26 game road losing streak, for the Lions)... without those two non-Packers' games, going the Packers' way:simply said, the Packers lose the strength of schedule tiebreaker, and miss the playoffs,period... my point is that your team can be loaded for bear, and you can still be a bad team,or a team that misses the playoffs by a hair... i take the predictions with a big grain of salt, folks, and they can also use them for toilet paper,at end of the season...

odd monetary trivia...

sometimes,i love odd trivia:name the three people to appear on the $500 bill??? answer:1879:John Quincy Adams, sixth president of the United States, series 1918:John Marshall, fourth Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, series 1934:William McKinley,25th President of the United States(1897-1901),and the second president to be assassinated six months into his second term,in September 1901... note:it was also printed as a small size Gold Certificate,in 1928... it was taken out of regular public circulation,on July 14,1969,by 35th President Richard M. Nixon, and the Treasury Department,to combat drug trafficking... note:the largest bill ever printed,by the Treasury Department, was a $100,000 Gold Certificate, with Woodrow Wilson,28th President of the United States(1913-1921),on it,and the oddest thing is that it was only printed, from December 18th,1934,to January 9th,1935-twenty two days-and never was in public circulation...

SI may have it right...

Sports Illustrated, which i normally take with a grain of salt, has an article, titled,"Green Bay Packers:Bouncing Back? Scary Thought",by Peter King that is scary in thought, because he mentions the fact the Packers' offense is young and talented, with probably the best pure quarterback in the NFL,in Aaron Rodgers, with Mike McCarthy as head coach... he does mention the patchwork offensive line(their weakness),but with a mobile quarterback, who throws better on the run than sometimes in the pocket, they will have a chance to improve... if they can improve on giving up a NFL leading fifty one sacks last season, the Packers will be loaded for bear,on offense(and with a potent running game),even with the departure of wide receiver Greg Jennings(a real diva, and number fifteen to me),to Minnesota... he mentions the young and athletic defense, which should improve, especially in the defensive backfield, and does not even mention their best defensive player,in "the Claymaker" Clay Matthews, until the last paragraph of the article.... if the Packers really improve, like they should, over last season(and the sixth toughest schedule),we will find out,and NFL,now that is a scary thought...

political correctness gone amok...

if you look at Slate.com,Mother Jones,or the New Republic(along with a MSNBC host-Melissa Harris-Perry)for any sports coverage(and you really should not):they have refused to call the Washington Redskins by their team names, referring to them,as,"the R-word",and a group of 30+ congressmen have called for the team name change, but Redskins' owner Dan Snyder has said that he will not change the name, and unless he does, and the NFL approves,i will keep referring to them,as the Washington Redskins... my opinion:i honestly do not like the name, but it is Snyder's right to name the team whatever he wants(for example:the Washington Snails(laughing))...

commentary...

the NFC North is going to be a tough division to win this season... you have the two-time defending division champion,in the Packers... the weakest spot for the Packers is the offensive line, and their defensive backfield is young, and inexperienced, but very talented... the Minnesota Vikings have improved on offense, except for Christian Ponder, who has talent, but has been erratic, and they have a very good defensive backfield, but their weakest spot is at the linebacker position... the Chicago Bears have not improved too much on offense, and their weakest spot, besides their offensive line,is the temperament of their quarterback,Jay Cutler... get Cutler upset, and he loses interest in the game... the Detroit Lions have many weaknesses on defense(only one pass rusher, and a not very good defensive backfield)... when you gave up over 20+ points/per game(and they lost the last eight games,to go,4-12,last season),you are going to lose a ton of games, even though wide receiver Calvin Johnson broke Jerry Rice's NFL receiving yards record, with nearly 2,000 yards receiving, last season... note:except for Harrison Smith, for the Vikings, and the youth of the Packers' defensive backfield:the rest of the NFC North teams' defensive backfields are nearly over age 30(first string),of every team, except for the Packers... it will be interesting to see who wins, this season...

a day at Lambeau Field...

what a day to just sit,and relax,in Lambeau Field!!!!!! partly cloudy, and the pitch, looks very green with a slight trace of football markings, but it is just time to enjoy football... bring it on....

one too many divas...

apparently,Greg Jennings did not like quarterback Aaron Rodgers' leadership on the field, because Rodgers would not take any guff, when you made a mistake on the field, and that Jennings did not like being told that, when he made a mistake on the field,it was his fault... that nugget of wisdom was during an interview with retired Packers' wide receiver Donald Driver,on ESPN Radio,today... my opinion:who honestly cares how Jennings really feels, because,to me,he is the biggest diva, since Terrell Owens played with the San Francisco 49ers,and other teams,in the NFL...

Wednesday, August 14, 2013

commentary...

if you want bells and whistles, there will be two stadiums that are the absolute best:the Dallas Cowboys' stadium, and the new Levi's stadium in Santa Clara, for the San Francisco 49ers,next year... however,my point was that the total fan experience,in Green Bay,was ranked this season, and the last few seasons,as number one,in the NFL... i rather be among 80,000+ Packers' fans on game day, than anywhere else, because the fans in Green Bay may be the best fans,in the NFL... how many fans would tailgate,in icy cold Green Bay,in December,or January,in a heartbeat, and even do it without a ticket??? at least,80,000+ fans, because there may not be tougher fans,in the NFL...

blog statement...

to me,Lambeau Field is probably the best NFL stadium,period... i may be biased, and I AM... for that fact,i make no excuses...

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

commentary...

the pundits are still saying the Packers' running game is no better than last year, but they really forget that DuJuan Harris(projected first string running back,by head coach Mike McCarthy),and rookie Eddie Lacy, who is projected to be on team,as the pounder that the Packers have not had in forty three games(not having a running back rush for 100 yards,or more),did not play in opening preseason game, against the Arizona Cardinals... Harris practiced for the first time in two weeks recovering from a knee injury, and Lacy will, most likely, play against the St. Louis Rams,in St. Louis,in the second preseason game,on Saturday night... like i have said earlier, the Packers will be better, including the running game... however, the pundits do not feel that the running game will not be any better than last season... to the pundits,i say that i honestly do not care what they believe, and they tend to hype the Seattle Seahawks, the San Francisco 49ers,and even the Denver Broncos as legitimate Super Bowl XLVIII contenders, which they are,no doubt, but they are downgrading the Packers' chances,at being in the NFL playoffs, and having a chance at winning Super Bowl XLVIII... well, honestly,i believe that the Packers will be a better team than last year,no doubt... how much is why you play the game...

Monday, August 12, 2013

commentary...

i mentioned the word,"too" in my commentary on the Cardinals-Packers preseason game,as in "too worried"... actually,if you are a good team, the preseason is mostly about the fact that the team needs to know who can play, and who can not play, not the scoreboard... i will remind you that the San Francisco 49ers scored only three points on their first team offense, and six points total,in their first preseason game... are we going to say that the 49ers-Packers game, opening week,is going to be a 3-0 yawner??? could be,but honestly, there is absolutely no way that both teams will not score points aplenty,in that game... the Packers had two turnovers(an interception, and a fumble)in the first half turned into touchdowns,by the Cardinals, but only gave up three points the rest of the game, which is a plus... the first team offense, including quarterback Aaron Rodgers, had only one drive,Graham Harrell played most of the second, and third period, with Vince Young playing some snaps in third period, and then B.J. Coleman played the fourth quarter... the Packers will play better and get ready for the opening week, against the 49ers,and i know that the 49ers will ready for that game,in San Francisco,too... both head coaches will make sure of that,period...

commentary...

people may laugh and snicker about the ownership structure of the Packers, but i do not laugh,or snicker, and people ask about a dividend on the stock... there is not a financial dividend to it,and if i was to give up the stock to the CORPORATION,as the Packers put it,in their corporate by-laws,i would be given two and a half cents for it... however, there is a dividend to ownership, and there are two areas of the dividend that i want to talk about:1)pride in the team, and 2)that owners know that the renovation, and expansion,of Lambeau Field could not have happened without their help... not at all... the team reports that half of the monies put up for the renovation, and expansion of Lambeau Field came from the shareholders/owners,past and present, and that sparks the real team pride of the shareholders/owners of the Packers... so the shareholders/owners of the Packers get trinkets, and clothing that tell people that they are shareholders/owners,but honestly,it is the team that the shareholders/owners are very, very proud of,and the shareholders/owners get to vote on corporate matters, and where do average Joes(no slight intended-a general term)get to vote on a NFL team's corporate matters... only in one place,in Green Bay,PERIOD...

correction...

i made a stupid error in saying that it was the 2012-2013 NFL season, and yet,it is the 2013-2014 NFL season coming up,in commentary... brain freeze,folks... i corrected the error... no one is perfect... i know that i am not perfect,folks(laughing)... i am just waking up,folks,too...

odd trivia...

when the Detroit Lions went 0-16,in 2008,what was their record in the preseason that year??? answer:four wins,no losses...

commentary...

when one of the headlines on the Packers' website was,"(head coach)McCarthy wants all four quarterbacks to play in exhibition opener",you,as a Packers' owner, knew that it was a game that was to find out what players were getting ready for the 2013-2014 NFL season... running back James Starks, and quarterback Aaron Rodgers were getting ready, with quarterback Graham Harrell playing well... the defense gave up one big play, and played average, but when you do not score a point,it is hard to be happy... before the fans tear down Lambeau Field, folks,it was a preseason game,so i am not too worried...

a day at Lambeau Field...

Lambeau Field now looks like a football field, with tonight's preseason game, against the Arizona Cardinals... wish i was there to dream....

Thursday, August 8, 2013

commentary...

Greg Jennings was signed by the Minnesota Vikings over the winter... that is just fine, but it is his big mouth that he can not seem to shut up... even his coach,Leslie Frazier, told him "to concentrate on Minnesota...",and was not happy about him talking about his former team, the Green Bay Packers... he told KFXN,in Minneapolis/St. Paul, that the Packers "brainwash" their players... i do not know what caused Jennings to go off the deep end of a cliff, like a lemming, but his "me first" attitude, being the biggest diva in the NFL,does make the Packers look like the class organization, and team, that it is,and does make the Vikings look like a shabby organization, and team that it should not be,because they,as a team, can not get Jennings to really shut his big mouth, and just play football... you have given the Packers bulletin board material, for playing the Vikings, and your team do not play them until week seven... Greg,do you have a brain, and if you do,are you a moron??? i actually gave you some good advice once:just shut up,grow up,and just play football... unfortunately, you have a burr in your rear end about the Packers, but yet, your big mouth overshadows that little fact, because Greg, your mouth runneth over, and is making your team look like extreme fools... question for the Vikings:is Jennings' talent worth the embarrassment of ,"the mouth that will not shut up"??? right now,i doubt that...

a day at Lambeau Field...

another gorgeous day in Lambeau Field... daydreaming about watching the Packers!!!!!

historic music trivia....

when was the iconic Beatles' "Abbey Road" album cover originally photographed??? answer:believe it,or not:it was forty four years today(August 8th,1969)...

Wednesday, August 7, 2013

commentary...

the pundits have said that the Packers are in serious trouble with injuries... i do not doubt that, but in 2010,they won Super Bowl XLV,with fifteen players,on injured reserve... wide receiver Jordy Nelson did have knee surgery, but it was to deal with an old nerve problem from his rookie season(or even from college),and he could have played with it,if games started tomorrow... he should be ready for opening week of the 2013-2014 season... he has played with it all of his Packers' career... the other injury is to Bryan Bulaga(a torn ACL),but there are hopes that he may play this season,in Packers' land... my opinion:do not count on that... offensive lineman are the key to the Packers' season... if one goes down,it will be tough... question:can quarterback Aaron Rodgers survive fifty one more sacks, like he did, last season... note:most of those sacks were coverage sacks(Rodgers holding onto the football too long),but the offensive line was pathetic last season,period... fifty one official sacks will tell you that...

Tuesday, August 6, 2013

a day at Lambeau Field, and commentary...

the Packers play the Arizona Cardinals,Friday,in Lambeau Field,so Lambeau Field has the outline of a football field, with at least, one goalpost up for the game(stationary camera does not show the other goalpost),but i can not wait for the season... wish i was sitting in the bowl of Lambeau Field, right now, dreaming of the Packers playing today... being a Packers' shareholder/owner does not give me a ticket(a nearly 100,000+ person waiting list does not help me one bit)... the people that get seats this season, with the renovation, and expansion of Lambeau Field(some of them)have been waiting since the early 1970's,so me being on the waiting list would be almost very futile, because i would be somewhere around 80 years old, before season tickets come my way,so i will watch and root for the Packers watching my new HDTV,this season...

a great moment in Cleveland...

NFL football is the best... i have to give the Cleveland Browns major major(intended, folks)props to let Ryan Encinas,a five year old, from Cuyahoga Falls,Ohio, battling a cancerous tumor of his left lung, who is in remission, after two years,to run for a touchdown through the Browns' defense,in front of 24,000 people,at their Family Night scrimmage... with help from starting quarterback Brandon Weeden, and running back Trent Richardson,Ryan scooted through the defense from 40 yards out... it was suggested by the head coach's son... Ryan wore a complete uniform, number 1,with name on back... what a great thing to do!!!!!!! i have tears in my eyes... the whole team celebrated with Ryan!!!!!!! even the players followed him to the end zone, and some of them even fell down,in "tackling" him... the two minute film clip made me tear up... i hope and pray that Ryan really recovers,100%...

Packers' news...

note from Family Night scrimmage in Lambeau Field, last night:Packers' running back Eddie Lacy impressed with 65 yards rushing, including runs of 16 and 19 yards... now the bad news:even though kicker Mason Crosby has had a good camp kicking field goals, from all reports,he was three for eight last night, including two for six in a kicking competition after the scrimmage, and was booed by the Packers' fans...

football trivia...

what Pro Football Hall of Fame member was NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion,at Arizona State University, and a member of U.S. Olympic Wrestling team, both in 1968??? answer:Curley Culp,2013 Pro Football Hall of Fame member, with the Kansas City Chiefs,Houston Oilers, and Detroit Lions...

i normally do not talk about baseball, but honestly,i believe that Alex Rodriguez is lower than pond scum, because he is only in it for the money, and he is arrogant about being a real scumbag, and that it appears that he does not give a whit, about the Yankees,or even baseball fans,in general... i really do not like MLB Commissioner Bud Selig, but i want baseball to be cleaned up,and suspending Rodriguez is a good first step,period...

comment...

simply said,Philadelphia Eagles' wide receiver Riley Cooper and his big mouth got him into trouble... what was said was disgusting, and Cooper deserves what he gets... forgiveness is divine, and should be given, but can they forget it???

commentary...

simply said, shut your mouth,Greg Jennings, and play football!!!! i am beginning to really dislike him,as a Packers' shareholder/owner,and i really can not wait for the Vikings to play the Packers, week seven(at Minnesota),and week twelve,at Lambeau Field... i want to see the Vikings beaten, and have the Packers beat them quite badly... honestly,i have to thank number 15(his number in Minnesota),because he has fired me up to see every divisional rival beat by the Packers, this season... i respect Vikings' running back Adrian Peterson, for his talent, along with Jared Allen, but there are very few Vikings, besides them, that i truly respect... as for number 15,i say to him that the seven years as a Packers' wide receiver are simply forgotten by me,because he may think that he is having fun,and that it is a joke, but it is time:to shut up,play football, and see what happens, because you are a miserable Viking,no longer a Packer,so enjoy your time in Minnesota, and enjoy being cold,period...

a day at Lambeau Field...

on this day,Lambeau Field looks like a soccer pitch, and with Family Night(their most public practice)coming in two days,in front of a mostly filled Lambeau Field(tickets are ten dollars apiece),it will be fun,and Family Night will be broadcast,at least,locally... a couple of years ago,it was broadcast, nationally,on NFL Network... it is a very nice day in Green Bay,and i wish i was there, sitting in the bowl of Lambeau Field,today... note:i saw some of the Packers' practice, yesterday, and it was broadcast on NFL Network, along with most of the NFC North...
