most entertaining beatdowns of week...

this is a new feature on this blog:most entertaining beatdowns of a team that "deserves" their head handed to them by an opponent, who has no right,or chance of beatdown of the team, but lays a whipping on their opponent,anyway...
1:New York Giants vs. Washington Redskins:Eli Manning kept complaining all pre-season that,"he was in same class as Tom Brady, because he won a Super Bowl"... fact that was:Redskins hammered the Giants, putting Manning into FED-EX Field, all day,and totally embarrassed the Giants,28-14,along with his coach,Tom Coughlin, who did not show any concern,or class, when former teammate Plaxico Burress accidently shot himself in leg, when he visited him in hospital...
2:Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers:score 19-17,49ers,after a great 70+yard pass play,by Seattle... you see Pete Carroll smiling until the next kickoff, when Ted Ginn,Jr. ran kickoff back 102 yards,to go up again,26-17... it was not finished:after a Seattle punt,Ted Ginn,Jr. ran another one back;a 55 yard punt return for another touchdown... just seeing Pete Carroll slink off after two returns,in exactly 59 seconds, especially to the 49ers,was just special...
3:Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens:i have no love for the Ravens, but after getting beat seven straight times,by Ben Roethlisberger, the Ravens were hunting for Ben,and the Steelers... what was supposed to be perhaps "the game of the year",by the pundits, turned into a seven turnover stomping of the Steelers, that turned into a total laugher, when Baltimore hung a 35 spot on the Steelers' black and gold, beating them so bad that Pittsburgh threw the towel in,in the first half,if even then... it was so ugly, that Pittsburgh suffered seven turnovers in a game, for the first time in 16 years, and the score could have been even uglier than the final score of 35-7...
