helping kids,and charities...

since 1950,and 1961,the Packers have played a Shrine game(1950),and the Bishop's Charities game(1961),in their preseason;having records,in Shrine Game,of 32-27-3(in 1970,there were ties,in both games;6-6,Shrine game, against Chicago Bears, and 31-31,Bishop's Charity game, against New York Giants)... they tied Bears, again,in 1973,with a 13-13 tie,and in 1988,they tied the Kansas City Chiefs,21-21,with an overtime period, thrown in... the record in the Bishop's Charity game is 27-23-1(with that tie,in 1970,31-31,against New York Giants)... they have raised more than $3.2 million, for the Shriners' hospitals, and for the Bishop's Charities, they have raised more than $3.5 million... in the 1970's they changed the contract,to a flat donation,to the Bishop's Charity, but the Shriners get a percentage of the gate, for their game,to help the kids...
