commentary...

two low points in the Packers' season were the 409 yards given up,by the Packers' defense,to Minnesota Vikings' running back Adrian Peterson,in three games(both division games, and a playoff game),and the 181 yards given up to the 49ers' quarterback Colin Kaepernick during the 45-31 destruction,of the Packers,at Candlestick Park... Head Coach Mike McCarthy has said that the Packers' defense has to really improve this upcoming season, and on that i agree with McCarthy, because those games really blackened the eye of a rather decent defensive season,numbers-wise,and yet,you only remember those games, overall, last season, and that stinks up Lambeau Field,in the minds of Packers' fans, and shareholders... the Packers' offense is one of the best passing attacks,in the NFL,and even though, they may not have a top-tier running attack, last season, they did really improve, overall,in that respect... the Packers' defense were in the middle of the NFL,numbers-wise,but they were known to be able to give up yards on the ground the last two seasons, but without a dominant pass rusher alongside the impressive "Claymaker" Clay Matthews, they have the reputation to be a soft defense, and yet, injuries the last two years,to the middle of their defense, makes them a middle of the road defense, even though they have a very young, but very good defensive secondary... so the 2013 NFL draft is very critical to the Packers' chances, this upcoming season,period...
