commentary...

as a shareholder/owner of the Green Bay Packers, this is a sad day for the NFL... New England Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady has been suspended for the first four games of the 2016 NFL season... there have been various reactions to his suspension, from shock to bewilderment of how hard it was on Brady... honestly, who cares what people think??? my honest opinion is that he received what he deserved, because it is about the integrity of the NFL,not about what he did,or what happened(the 45-7 final score,of the AFC Championship),or the small fact that the footballs in the game(in the first half)was under-inflated... if the NFL league office can not suspend probably the best quarterback in this era,in Tom Brady, what can the NFL ever do in giving players discipline??? answer to that question is absolutely nothing,period... what gets to me is that Brady was not totally forthcoming with the truth,as outlined in the Wells Report, when it says that in the NFL by-laws that players are required to comply with league investigations, and that Brady showed arrogance in not giving up his relevant e-mails,to the investigators, when assured that his personal e-mails would not be made public, and still he refused their request... the NFL sent everybody a stiff message today,in saying being a celebrity or a star,in the NFL means absolutely nothing,if you mess with the integrity of the NFL,and no matter how small the infraction of the rules,it means absolutely the same,as a big rules violation,as in the New Orleans Saints' "bounty" case... it is the exact same thing,period... PERIOD...
