New York Jets' team analysis, for the 2012-2013 NFL season...

after two consecutive AFC Championship appearances, the New York Jets slumped to 8-8,and missed the playoffs, last season... they have not scored an offensive touchdown,in their three preseason games, matching the 1977 Atlanta Falcons,in that futility... their offense this preseason has been non-existent,and quarterbacks Mark Sanchez, and Tim Tebow have looked like anything, but worldbeaters, along with a porous offensive line, and a defense, besides the defensive backfield, that looks like swiss cheese... Rex Ryan does not have the overall talent to really contend, unless Sanchez really improves, and they get some offensive weapons, besides running back Shonn Greene... they have a very good draft class, including defensive end Quentin Coples, wide receiver Stephen Hill, and outside linebacker DeMario Davis(their top three draft picks),but they have to improve, now, from high draft picks,to major starters... with the fact that they have not scored an offensive touchdown, and shown anything,in this preseason, they better come out firing on all cylinders, but with the Buffalo Bills,Pittsburgh Steelers,Miami Dolphins,San Francisco 49ers,and Houston Texans opening up their 2012-2013 schedule, along with two games with the New England Patriots, they may have to dig out of an early hole, and if the Jets can do that, they could contend, but they must come out firing on all cylinders... an early hiccup could doom the Jets,period...
