Oakland Raiders' team analysis, for the 2012-2013 NFL season...

the Silver and Black were putrid last season... they allowed 74 points more on defense, then they scored,on offense... of any team, who finished 8-8,they had the worst point difference(359 points scored, and 433 points allowed)... they lost their owner(Al Davis,RIP),their top running back(Darren McFadden)to injury, and their quarterback was traded for,in mid-season(Carson Palmer),from Cincinnati, and their defense just stunk all season, last year, and then fired their coach(Hue Jackson),who told the national media that,"he would have a say in personnel matters",and then got fired, within days... a total train wreck...
for the good news:they hired Reggie McKenzie, out of Green Bay,as their new general manager, and hired Dennis Allen,as their new head coach... they had a good, but inconsistent offense, and their receiving corps was good last year, along with their special teams had some highlights, last season...
they had very few draft picks, and they must be more disciplined, and have better defense... if the offense had a better year, with a returning McFadden, who actually led the NFL,in rushing, when he had a severe foot injury, which sidelined him,for the last nine games,of the 2011 NFL season(614 yards rushing,in seven games),the Silver and Black can contend,if their overall defense improves, but they are known as the most penalized team, over the years(and they were near the top of the NFL,in that category, last season)...
