a story about Starr and Lombardi...

the 1960's Packers had eleven Hall of Fame members,or so,but the most valuable Packer during the Lombardi era was quarterback Bart Starr... why do i say that??? simply because without him,Lombardi does not go anywhere, because Starr has told a story about Lombardi many times that signifies why he was the perfect fit for Lombardi... the story:Lombardi got pissed at Starr on the practice field once, and read him the riot act,and Starr went into his office, and told him that he could yell at him and give him guff, but not on the practice field, because of how he was perceived on field as a leader... how would he lead the team on the field if the players had no confidence in him to do the job??? he told him to do it in his office,if he had to do it,at all... he would take it there, but never on the practice field... Lombardi never said anything to him on the practice field, but give him respect, again
