commentary...

even though the game against the Vikings was a hard fought, and tight game(score-wise,24-21),the Packers never trailed in the game... the reason comes down to three factors:Aaron Rodgers did not have a good game,numbers-wise,but he did not turn over the football via interception for the ninth game,of eleven games;Eddie Lacy had 125 rushing yards,on 25 carries, including the decisive game-winning drive, running out the last four minutes of game, when the Vikings had a chance to tie game with a field goal,or win the game with a touchdown;the Packers' team defense came up with key plays(the only turnover:an interception by Micah Hyde),and critical stops, when the score was tight, and they hurried Vikings' quarterback Teddy Bridgewater into errant throws, and erratic play, when it was necessary... it was an ugly game, compared to many Packers' games this season(throwing the football all over the place, and scoring points in bushels),but it was a game that was necessary to show how tough this Packers' team was, because in the playoffs, not every game will be a shootout, some will be slugfests in the proverbial "mud, blood, and beer",of playoff football...
