Eagles/Packers game notes...

facts on the Philadelphia Eagles:former New York Jets' quarterback Mark Sanchez is the starter under center... they have a great running attack,in Darren Sproles, and LeSean McCoy,who led the NFL in rushing, and a very good offense that scored 31 of the team's 45 points(special teams, and defense each scored a touchdown on a punt return by Sproles, and a pick six by the defense),in a 45-21 rout of the Carolina Panthers... the Eagles are 7-2,a very good team, but they have one glaring flaw:their starting quarterback,Nick Foles is out with the same injury that sidelined Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers last season-a broken clavicle, and they are fighting the Dallas Cowboys (a half game up) for first place,in the NFC East division, just as the Packers are in second place, behind the Detroit Lions(a game behind)... both teams need the victory, but honestly, the Packers need it more, because the Packers' schedule may be softer, but with the Minnesota Vikings(at Minnesota),and New England Patriots(at Lambeau Field),in the next two weeks, the Packers need all the wins that they can get... not knowing what the NFL will do about running back Adrian Peterson is an enigma, but he could play against the Packers,so do not take Minnesota very lightly... basically put the hammer down on all your opponents, and watch out for Tom Brady(as always),and the NFC North division will be decided,in week seventeen,at Lambeau Field, against the Detroit Lions... quarterback Aaron Rodgers just threw six touchdown passes, last week, and the Packers scored 48 points,on offense,in a 55-14 rout of the Chicago Bears,so it should be an interesting game,Sunday, shouldn't it...
